Nakisha Washington is a Learning Experience Designer* for a fashion retailer. In her role, Nakisha leads the design and development of store focused training initiatives across the enterprise. Over the span of her ten-year Learning & Development career, Nakisha has developed and executed adult learning strategies for global organizations. Her past roles include Enterprise Learning Facilitator, Senior Learning & Development Consultant and VP of Training & Development.
Nakisha has been recognized for her local and national civic engagement. She was named as one of 2017s Who’s Who in Black Charlotte, a publication honoring the achievements of African Americans in the community. She is the 2015 YWCA Woman of Achievement Emerging Leader recipient. The YWCA acknowledged Nakisha for her philanthropic work in Charlotte to raise awareness around economic mobility, social justice and women’s rights.
Nakisha's community leadership includes 2016-2018 Director of Scholarships for the Charlotte Chapter of NBMBAA (National Black MBA Association), 2014-2015 Vice President of the Urban League of the Central Carolinas Young Professionals Auxiliary and has served on local boards of directors.
Nakisha is a national keynote speaker, moderator, workshop facilitator and consultant.
